Daily Challenge/Greedbutt/Cheaters
How official is the Greedbutt site? How much weight does it carry if they say you cheated and does it actually count against any of the daily achievements for Afterbirth+? And what actually constitutes cheating?

I've been doing the dailies every day since the 12th to work towards the achievements. I won my first four and lost the 5th, so I didn't get that achievement, although it was bugged and just fixed yesterday. Today should have been my fourth win in a row again, but according to Greedbutt I was caught cheating 2 or 3 days ago, so my score doesn't seem to count, even though I have done nothing in the way of cheating. I don't even play for score or time. I just play to win, so I can try to get the 5-win achievement, by taking as much time as I need, grabbing as many items that will help me win (even if it will reduce my overall score), and only taking pretty sure bet risks regarding devil deals/curse rooms.

EDIT: I checked which run it says I cheated on and it was Wed. the 18th, which was the Lost, going to Mom's Heart. I won that run and took no damage, which you kinda have to do to win as the Lost, so it shows my damage penalty as 0. Is that why it considers me a cheater? I don't understand.

As far as I'm aware, Greedbutt is a fan-made site and is in no way affiliated with the dev team. There's even a disclaimer at the bottom of the site that says this. I don't think it would matter for the achievements, it might just be a matter of things being a bit on the wonky/bugged side.

Greedbutt was created by eur0pa (also know for his Dark Souls PvP Watchdog), as an effort to filter out the most obvious cheaters and other cheaters, with impossible/suspicious scores (for example, Hush bonus for a Mom/Mom's Heart daily, DMG penalty on a Lost-with-no-D4 daily, that had no revival items, etc).

It's acknowledged by Nicalis and Edmund and regarded as "official leaderboards" by daily-runners and the community, because the unfiltered Steam leaderboards are useless. Greedbutt uses Steam OpenID to access the leaderboards and does not affect achievements or the game in any way directly.

Greedbutt is technically unofficial as it's fan made - even if they recognise it the devs don't have anything directly to do with it - it takes the official steam leaderboards and filters out players it thinks are cheating - as for how it determines this, only the people that made it or go through the source code to find out how know most likely, at the very least it isn't 100% reliable and there are also some false positives though.

The bug was only fixed with quite a recent patch (the same one that released a dev build in error, which has since been corrected), so as far as the game is concerned you're probably only on day 2 still as it wasn't counting properly before it was fixed. The leaderboards on greedbutt will have no impact on the achievement as that would rely on the steam leaderboards - and the steam leaderboards have no filtering or anti-cheat at all as far as I'm aware.

Whatever they decided cheating was. They have no way to tell what you're doing so...
