Why dont they just do It's The Key under a challenge tho. I'm getting tired of getting screwed over silly things such as coins over a path that you cannot evade or items thrown at you when a bomb exploded.
well for some reason i got the reward for I during a greedier run but still :I
I alt+f4'd a few 'It's the key' runs thanks to exploding pickups. Feels like a metagame, having to dodge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pickups too.
Oh, not to mention when they get explode-pushed into a door
*yay*

Well, why not use bombs?
Seriously though, it is quite recommended to use the Easter Egg Seed which makes pick-ups fade away albeit coming with more disadvantages as well. It does not disable unlocks, secrets&achievements.
I haven't really tried Delerium as Lost or Keeper yet, but I'm expecting them both to be a nightmare.
It's The Key is a pain, but it's doable. It's not hard, as much as annoying.
The rest are hard enough, but I'll get through them eventually. It's those two Delerium fights that I'm dreading the most.
Wooden Coin = Easy Wins.
Wooden Nickel only works once per room, if it works at all. It'll keep you going through the game, but it's not much use in boss fights. Swallowed Penny makes Keeper a lot easier, but there's still a high chance of getting hit a second time before you can collect your coin.
That said, he is a lot easier than Lost.
Was it the 1st or 2nd phase that got you?
Since for all you need on the 2nd is actually just range (since either explosive immunity item is rather rare), maybe even just some. Kitting Ultraier Greed into each corner, whether you do it clock-wise or counter doesn't matter as long as you eep at at, and the only attack that might hit one is the wave of rocks and well, maybe coin bombs. No door beam will catch you, neither does he fire any shots and obviously there ain't no bomb dropping at you when he jumps.
I've fought UG a few times with Lost - both phases. The thing that killed me every time was that the first phase always took my Holy Mantle, then I got pinned between two bombs in the second phase. Every. Damn. Time.
