Afterbirth plus doesn´t start anymore (isaac-ng.exe doesn´t work)

I tried some things. First i reinstalled the game. didnt start. Then i installed only rebirth. that worked. After that i installed afterbirth and afterbith + but after that it didn´t work again. So I only installed Afterbirth and the game worked. So I installed afterbirth plus again and now it won´t work. Can anybody help me? I have no mods installed. Pls help meee

I have this same problem for MONTHS and it still wasn't fixed , but i discovered that it's because of mods. you said that you have no mods installed but did you had mods when it happened in the first place ?

Hey guys, if you go to your "Documents" folder and then enter to "my games", you will see a folder named "...Afterbirth+:Mods" (or something like this). You must delete the entire mods folder and try to start the game again. That worked for my, I hope works fou you! ;)

Same. Ok, I've hunted the problem down. In the \Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ folder there is an options.ini file. If I disable steamcloud the game actually runs however it accesses an empty save file.

go to the game folder then open options in notepad and turn enablemods to 0

I had this issue but managed to fix it. I don't use any "official" mods, but I use a music mod that plays the original Binding of Isaac ost.
Anyway I had to validate the game cache. Right click rebirth in your library and go to properties. In the new window click on the local files then click "verify the integrity of game files".
Your game should work now.
If you're like me and you're using the music mod Navigate to your rebirth resources folder and rename the "Packed" folder to something else. Now your game should work AND you can listen to those fine Baronowskie tunes.

Yeah I have uninstalled every mod I have (and I´m afaraid I will never find all of them again) but still......crashes as soon as it starts

OMG FINALY! it worked...well lets find out which mod ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my game....
