Cod worm + Nose Goblin = stuck?

Hi there. As the title says. I'm stuck in a room because a bogger hit a cod worm. he doesn't come up and keeps firing. I hope this is not intended.

Stop firing.
Wait for the booger to fall off him. (Each booger lasts for a minute before falling off)
Wait until he pops out.
Fire.

It is intended, since those types of enemies like to stay in hiding while they're being damaged/shot at.

I got stuck in that situation once too, and while the booger took forever to fall off, the doors to the room automatically opened after a certain amount of time and I was free to leave. It's probably a failsafe to prevent players getting stuck.

I was a little concerned as-well when during a challenge this happened, I didn't wait but I believe the responses, just bombed the door and rerouted to avoid that room. Good to know it would fall off though so thanks for the handy input I can save a bomb next time =]

I lost my patience too and bombed off the room, droped nose goblin and reentered. thankfully i was at womb I and not in cathedral :)
But its good to now that they fall off.
BTW host hats also hide when you fire at them but they don't care about booger i think
