Infinite Basement

Ive seen a few people on youtube playing a mode that seems to be an infintie basement. What is this and how can i play it.

As of Rebirth, but idk about AB or AB+,
One can end the basement run after having gone through enough 'floors' by killing themselves (last life) on spikes in sacrifice room (soory fliers, u gotta find one of the other couple ways to glitch past). It doesn't seem to be a guarantee, but more often than not you should enter the final floor you have unlocked for that character and beating it will spawn the chest as normal. Still no achievements/advancement since its a seed. You can also use shovel instead of going in chest to keep going infinitely.

Emm....flying doesn't make you avoid sacrifice room damage

In rebirth, when ever I was flying I couldnt take damage from the spikes in there. Thats the only reason I even tried to find other ways to force level skip.

Also, TPing to the last floor was only ever introduced in the "sacrifice room tweak" patch that released a couple months after AB was.
