what is the fastest way to unlock the keeper?

I know how to unlock it, I just dont want to spend hours upon HOURS of doing greed mode runs to get him, so whats the quickest way?

Break Greed Mode. things like 2 of Diamonds + Blank Card + Battery. Try to head into the Greedier battle with 99 coins and at least one 2 of diamonds card (which you use after you've donated 50 coins).

When it breaks or you're done donating, switch to a different character and repeat. the chance of the machine breaking increases if you keep using the same character.

what about waht bisnap used? ya'know, the time hourglass, chaos card, and repeat. Or was that hourglass removed?

Switch characters often. The more you donate with each character, the higher the chance the machine will jam for them. You'll see the jam percent chance below your keys and bombs. When the jam percent is 10 or over, switch to another character.

Cycle between three or four characters and the counter should stay at 0%. Since Lillith is by far the easiest to win with, just use her, Isaac, Azazel, and whoever else as a fourth (only if the counter doesn't reset after the cycle). It won't take you very long to unlock Keeper and you should get some pretty fun combos getting to the unlock.

For the fourth, Maggy is pretty good for Greed Mode, especially in the first few levels with the Yum Heart keeping her going. Samson is also pretty good for Greed; the extra damage comes in handy, especially in the final fight.

If you have Afterbirth +, don't use the Glowing Hour Glass break. After 5 uses, the Glowing Hour Glass will turn into just the normal Hourglass.

You'd honestly spend more time trying to get the specific combos to cheese the machine than just playing through normally. If you get the chance at a cheese combo, go for it, but don't hold down R if you don't get those items right off the bat.

You don't have to break the game for coin in Greed Mode. Just save it. Be picky about the items you buy and save at least 25-50 coin for the end.

I saved about 95 coins for the end. Donated all. Got achievments. 147 coins. No regrets.

It doesn't work anymore.

If really wanted to, you could disable AB+ from the DLC box in your steam library, unlock the Keeper using cheese strats and then re-enable AB+.

Not sure if it'd affect your AB+ save (I'd imagine so but can't say for sure) but you can always Alt+F2 on the stat screen to Sync your unlocks from your achievement list.

If You play afterbirth(without the plus thingy) You can use glowing hourglass and something that will make You recharge your item faster.If You play afterbirth plus You can switch back to afterbirth or use the void on the hourglass and then break it somehow again :d
