You had two items that didn't synergize.
That doesn't mean the way synergies are implemented into the game is incomplete or bad. It means you don't like the way synergies are implemented into the game.
Its not that I have a problem with synergies as a whole. Its that certain items do not produce new effects when combined. Also while I did say that the synergy mechanic is incomplete I didn't say It was bad. I like the mechanic but as long as there are items that are not mutualy exclusive and do not produce a synergy then I don't think that the synergy mechanic is complete. That said I am not expecting the dev team to do a major overhaul of the mechanic. All I want is for a few new synergies to be added with each new patch so that the synergy mechanic will grow closer to completion over time.
Knife + Dr fetus. Would probably be you shoot 1 knife that explodes on enemy contact. Or you shoot a pointed bomb that can do contact damage
Brimstone + ipecac worked fine together until AB+ destroyed them. A synergy of them would probably be travels like brimestone until it hits an enemy or rock and then explodes. Or fires a mega explosive tear in a straight line with infinite range + visual effect.
Either way ipecac still kinda sucks in AB+ (Though not nearly as much as it did since big horn lost his boss armor)
Doesn't that just make ipecac shots fire while charging brimstone?
aw come on I love ipecac even more now that there's so many ways to avoid or outright negate damage, especially with soy milk :D
