Backasswards glitch

So i beat 'it lives' and went on to beat all rooms on the map. I found the beam of light that is supposed to take me to the next level but it always disappear when I enter the room and I only get a glimpse of it. Is this a known bug and how can I proceed my challenge?

Oh nevermind suddenly the game put the beam of light in the different room and it didn't disappear this time. I only had to exit and return to the game 20 times.

On the same subject but a different question, curse of the maze will sometimes move the room layouts around, not just teleport you; when a room layout is moved with the beam, is that what is causing this glitch? Or would it move the beam with the room?

this curse is so annoying! why do they have to put such an annoying curse in this challenge? T_T

i think it moves the beam with the room. im having the same glich rn but THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING WONT STOP! i refuse to restart this challenge ive gotten so far! T_T

The same thing just happened to me on PS4. The curse of the maze swapped two rooms, one being the room with the beam of light. The beam teleported too, but it wouldn't stay on place.
Turning the game off and on helped, resetting the layout.
