Does Apple! synergise with any tear-changing items?

I've picked up Apple! in a few runs now (those razors!) but haven't come across and major tear-changing items in the same runs. Does anyone know how it affects major tear-changing items like Brimstone, Tech X, etc?

It more than likely doesn't affect them. Much like tough love becomes useless once you get a tech item or brimstone

Coincidentally, I just found Tech X in my current run where I picked up Apple! earlier, hence this post aha, I like my razors too much to risk losing them!
