Delirious Dissapointment [Spoilers, btw]

The Delirious item is a total let-down, on so many levels.

First, you would think that summoning Delirium would be at least decently powerful, given how insane the boss is, but... Nope. The summoned Delirium doesn't seem to have much health and its damage isn't impressive at all. Against most bosses, Friendly D just dies in seconds and he does maybe a quarter-bar's worth of damage on average.

To put this in perspective, Shoop Da Whoop is just as powerful as Delirious, and it's a common item with a 2-room charge. Pinking Shears is less rare than Delirious and it abolishes bosses in seconds. Mega Blast is about as rare as Delirious, also with a 12-room charge, and it can destroy four rooms, then kill a boss with seconds of blasting to spare.

Also, Friendly D doesn't behave anything like actual Delirium. It doesn't transform and it does't teleport much. It doesn't spam bullet-hell nightmares. It's just a tamer version of some random boss.

What I'd love to see is if they removed the one-room limitation, allowed it to transform, and gave it maybe 1/4 of Delirium's actual health. You know... as if it actually summoned Delirium. This would put it on par with Mega Blast, letting you clear several rooms plus a boss, and actually make it worth that 12-room charge.

I think it would be better if it was a one time nuke. Something you use to kill hush or delirium.

We all expected AB+ to have great items. I don't think there are too many of these.

yeah started with it on Greed Mode with Eden and was pretty underwhelmed. the summon only lasted until about the 8th or 9th wave on each floor and I got terrible items and lost. not a complete wash though, started with Delerium and Glyph of Balance as my two items and got Eucharist first angel deal so got all those items on my page now. pretty happy to have those since they seem to be hard to find for most people

actually it doesnt do that at all. Pandoras box spawn an Angel room item and eternal heart on Cathedral while Edens soul spawns two pesestal items on any floor. you might wanna read up on what items do

There is something called youtube and platinumgod out there. Do I have to inform everyone about that? I looked up both of those and as far as I see AB+ in current state is not worth, that's why I don't have it.

Well the charmed effect in general always kinda sucked, because the charmed enemies still behave like they're attacking players, even tho their attack patterns aren't very effective against most enemies.

No it doesn't. Edens Soul gives you two items from the pool of the room you're in. It's way better than Pandoras Box.

you unlock it by beating Delerium, there isnt a way to unlock it last
