2. Humbling Bundle
3. Sack of Sacks
As for Humbling Bundle, it's nice and all, but it's just coins, keys, and bombs. You can get all of that from sacks, plus batteries, cards, and runes. I'd rather have me some Perthro, Jera, and all the batteries than a bunch of coin. Sacks make breaking the game easy.
The batteries are my favourite part, especially with a couple Jeras. With D6, you can reroll as much as you want. With Void, you're never without a charge. For D100, D4, D20, and Blank Card, the game just breaks itself. Blank Card + Sack Head is one of the best combos in the game.
Clear level. Find secrets if you can. If you find all secrets, you'll only need 2 batteries, otherwise +1 per secret not found. Guarinteed Devil deal AND I Am Error rooms on every floor. Then, on the last floor (Chest / Dark Room / Void), you can keep repeating the level as many times as you want, until you're so OP you're bored.
Really? But... Why? There are so many other ways to break the game. Why would they nerf that of all things?
Also, this must be a fairly new fix, because I've definitely used that trick on the Chest in Afterbirth. Then again, I haven't gotten the chance to do that one in a while. Maybe a few months. But I definitely did that in Afterbirth.
So the only debatable one is sack of sack vs humbling bundle in the early game. But then again humbling bundle can break the game early game and win you the run itself via shop reroll machines.
Of course one shouldn't forget contract from below. crooked penny or rune bag.
No, no it doesn't. You use crooked penny on the left over item pedistal after you take an item. Or on shops where you weren't going to buy anything anyways.
