No item inside gold room

Probably added by Afterbirth+. There are rare treasure rooms where you can take two items, it wouldn't be a surprise if there were some rare rooms with none to balance it.

Did you have mods on? Cause if so that may have caused it. I once played a mod and when I went to do a run as Maggy, I ended up forgetting to turn the mod off so I entered my first item room to find it large and empty since the mod did that.

It's a real thing. It can happen but it's very rare. You should just take it as if the room had a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ item (no pun intended) that you would not even take or just worthless. THAT do happen A LOT. So i don't get the cry
