The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

"You've been blessed"
So I'm working on the 1,000,000 achievement and I just need to collect Tonsil & Delirious. I've never messed around with Sacrificial rooms so I've been trying them every run to increase angel room chances. How the hell does the "You've been blessed" work? I get the message, and I see the angel room chance increase to 100%, but the room never generates before or after the boss room fight. I've tried it on varying floors, except 1st & 2nd floor, I don't take Devil deals, I've had about 10 'good' runs trying this method. I don't get it, am I missing something?

Beeing blessed makes it so, in case you get a deal room...it's always an angel room, even if you have taken a devil deal before. But it does not increase the room appearance chance.

The first icon represents the room appearance, the second one represents the chance of it BEEING SUBSTITUED by an angel room. But if the room does not appear the second percentage means nothing.

They made it kind of confusing unless you actually know how it works, missing HUD had a better representation.

Wow, I didn't think I'd get a crystal clear answer on the first response. Thanks dude, I get it now :)

"You have been blessed" is Scalpular, wich doesn't mess with your Angel room chances. The game first decides wether there will be a devil room and then wether it'll replace it with an angel room. If you're angel room chance is at 100% an angel room will still be unlikely when you're devil room chance is low. The only item that guarantees angel rooms is Eucharist and that is quite rare. But Duality will also give you both every time one of them is generated, if there is another valid wall.

Oh! Didn't even know that existed because I don't mess anymore with Sacrifice rooms since they're mostly garbage.

Turns out there are some things I didn't know about sacrifice rooms yikes...

This has been there since normal Afterbirth tho...It's thought as a help to reach mega satan. And in daily runs it's used to go beyond the goal for extra points.

Haha, I was in the same boat, I always skipped the Sac rooms, I had no idea they were revamped

Well, if I knew that, I wouldn't have done it the hard way for every character ;~;

you get tonsil from the trinket item, fairly common i have seen it 4 times since release. one option is the ol eden trick. and you HAVE to take damage to gain a tonsil passive. Very important part

as for delirious i have found it in the void boss room since it seems to have a large pool to pull from, seems to be ANY item.

sac rooms have helped me get mega stan done in several occasions XD when you need it it is worth it, if you have the HPsauce

they are far from garbage, I got Godhead on the first floor on my Keeper Mega Satan run

Well they were total garbage before the revamp. I knew that they can spawn the angels now, but that wasn't reason enough for me to ever use them.
