[BUG][Moderate] Apollyon didn't unlock item in Greed Mode (No Mods)

I started a game up with apollyon, set it to greed mode (not greedier), and played all the way to the end. upon beating ultra greed, I jumped into the chest, got a cutscene, pressed escape ONCE to skip it, aaannnd got no achievement/item for my efforts.

"Disable your mods" I got the U Broke It! Achievement during my run, as well as Verp. So THAT'S out the window.

Did you fight a second phase of Ultra Greed, or are you unlocking his normal greed mode item, then doing greedier?
Do you already have the regular greed mode achievement? Does any post it note appear for Apollyon greed mode at all?

as a last resort, I'd recommend doing an alt+f2 at your stats screen just in case.

Some possibilities :

- You were playing Greedier mode. I know you said you were playing Greed Hard mode, but since this mode doesn't exist, I might as well mention it as a possibility.

- You changed your character along the way. (The Clicker, Dark Judas would be some of the ways you can do that)

- You were playing with mods. U Broke It is a weird achievement that can be achieved when others can't. For example during a victory lap or when using mods. Vurp! is the unlock tied to the U Broke It achievement.

So yes, it was Normal Greed mode, and no I didn't have the achievement. No note at all.

It won't.
Alt + F2 syncs your game data according to your achievements. He doesn't have the achievement, so he won't get the data. All it will do is wiping his completion marks and Eden tokens.

Just looking at the stats screen would have done the trick if he had the the secret unlocked, but that's not the case either.

Basicaly, when you have the secret, but not the achievement, you look at your stat screen and Steam grants you the achievement (most of the time at least).
When you have the achievement, but not the secret, you alt + f2 while looking at your stat screen to sync your data accordingly.
When you have neither of those, nothing will work.
