Looking for Seeds to Unlock "The Lost" in Afterbirth+

I've searched around, but couldn't find any guides for this. I'm an incredibly avid BOI player. I've been wanting to unlock The Lost for awhile, but I figured I would wait until I finished up getting the completion marks for the other character's. I realize now though the longer I wait the more difficult it may be to get it unlocked, so if anyone knows of any guides or has seeds that can aid me in this I'd appreciate it.

I'd just revert to Rebirth, but I'm afraid it may screw with my files, so it'd be less stressful to do it on Afterbirth+

You have to unlock the Lost by dying as Isaac in a sacrifice room whilst holding the Missing Poster trinket.

actually you have to first do it through an absurd combination of tasks using death, which I believe will then unlock the missing poster. You also can't do this on a seed since achievements aren't enabled when you put a in.

Look on the wiki for how to unlock the lost because I swear the things you have to do in a row, and dying in specific ways is so painful.

The "4 deaths" method to unlock the Lost only works on Rebirth. If you have the Afterbirth DLC, it's a complete waste of time. Period.

On Aftebrirth (and Afterbirth+), you first have to unlock the Missing Poster (by killing the Lamb as Isaac), then find it in a run, then commit suicide on the spikes of a sacrifice room (the ones with spikes in the middle, not the one with a spiked door frame) while holding the trinket. Nothing else.

Seeds won't work of course, since they prevent all kind of unlocks/progress.

how do people still think seeds are a viable way to unlock anything? at this point its like there are trolls out there purposefully spreading misinformation or something because a basic google search of how to unlock The Lost would show that seeds are useless

I was pretty sure the seeds didn't affect the "4 Way Method" since I wasn't beating bosses I was just aiming to kill myself. I thought that when you died with the missing poster it just gave you a hint, but I guess now that I know I just need to find the poster and kill myself in sacrifice room that should be easy enough. Thanks for the help none the less.

Now one only has to wonder if it however works for the 3DS version, which uses an unknown version of Rebirth. After all, that seeds helped unlocking the Lost is a fact I even (ab)used, though IIRC that has been patched out but the gamepedia at least still has seeds (so I could very well be wrong about a Rebirth Patch of which only one mentions to "Fix seeded run exploit").

In any event, as mentioned, just wait until you get the Missing Poster some time and find a Sacrifce Room to kill yourself for the unlock. Any but the last floors can have that room and getting Mom's Box in the Shop may very well be a sure way to get the trinket sooner than later plus starting with Isaac and the D6 you can re-roll the shops.
