black candle in ultra hard challenge

is it possible to find the black candle in the "ultra hard" challenge or has it been removed from the item pool to prevent any loopholes?

You can find it but it ain't gonna do anything but give 1 black heart. It might stop curse of darkness, curse of the unknown. But it ain't doing jack on the forced every floor curses.

ok, so they did think of that loophole. . .well, I guess the only way I'm completing this challenge is to hir R until I get like tech X on the first floor.

I know I'm never gonna be able to beat delirium as the lost or the keeper with the instant telefragging. (totally unfair and does not belong in the game)

well played devs, I think you finally found a way to prevent me from having 100% completion.

edit : welp, I did it, with jacob's ladder and the cursed eye. . . yeah I said the cursed eye, I didn't want it, I hate that item but I had the left hand and I was trying to become guppy.
the book of satan also helped.
jacob's ladder is my new favorite item now

Same... I might as well go to the Sacrifice Room and hope for even better items or teleport to Angel Rooms just to get items. Here goes nothing...

NL found it... It only gave him 1 demon heart, the curses are hardcoded apparantly
