Do seeds decide void portal spawning?

Like I could start a run. See my seed and put it somewhere to tell me if I should abandon the run before it starts because no portal except at hush is going to spawn?

Due to daily-challenge players reporting mixed outcomes of void-portal spawning during dailies (some complain, that a portal spawned on top of them after Mom, some report no portals at all on the same daily), it's safe to assume, that void-portal spawns are not seeded.

There is just one little something one has to consider, namely...

"Defeating Mom has a 5% chance of instantly teleporting Isaac to The Void if he has 100+ tear damage or 20+ items."

/Just kidding of couse, seriously though, at least there is a condition and given 6 treasure rooms, 5 boss rooms and ~2 starting items that maybe do not count, one has quite to try to meet that condition with devil deals and shops, more than 1-2 gold chest/secret room items one should also not get (or I'll be jealous) before mom. Active Items may quite just count as one, if at all.

FYI 20 items are twice of what you get for the Backasswards challenge/Mega Stan fight~

its really not hard to hit the 20 items as the lost via all the devil deals and the keeper via all the shop and sacrifice room payouts.

Pretty easy, to aquire 20+ items before Mom, tho. Some good Devil Deals, shops, chest, curse rooms...i mean most of the items you find in a run are from chapter 1-3.

10 items are coming from item rooms and bosses alone.

Thank god, that this random teleporting never happened on a daily for me, though. I'd never hit Alt+F4 so fast, than if that'd ever be the case.

Of course, that throws some new light on OP's original question, wether void portals are seeded or not. It could be that the forced teleporting chance just as random as regular void portals appearing.

Well an entire irl day wasted including yeterday night where not a single portal spawned. My last run I was maggy, reached mom's heart with like a million items. Re did the floor and mom fight via the dice room. Almost raged when I remembered mama mega can open hush since it opened boss rush.

Then I got to the chest and killed blue baby, no portal. Chest gives me forget me now but I'll lose my satan key. I use it and kill blue baby again. Then I spam bombs since I had 99, scatter bombs, glitter bombs, key bum. It takes forever to go through enough chest that dad's key shows up since I alrady breakfasted the item pools. Then killed mega satan. No portal. I've lost count of the runs I've done. With no portals.

Does re doing a fight even still allow a portal to spawn? If it didn't spawn the first time.
