a story about usefull plan c item

i beat greedier as lazurus specialy for that unlock.
after some time i realized that plan c isnt that good as it sounds. also you can find it in almoust every item poll. i started to think about how bad is plan c. until today..

so i tryed casual azazel run to delirium.
on my first try i got ipecac and got screwed with 99 tear delay.
on second try i taked epic fetus. because why not. i only got to the void via lucky portal after ??? fight.
torus item saved me in the void. i had max speed so invincibility procs instantly.
on the last boss fight i got lazarus rags.
i only taked this item in hopes of getting plan c.
and it dropped from red chest!
i tryed to fight delirium wth epic fetus, mr. mega, 6 tear delay and incubus. and after 30 seconds i realized that its almoust imposible.

i used plan c and got my sweet delirium kill without any problems but as lazarus.
so i will need to do third attempt with azazel to kill delirium.

i think it's pretty intended to balance it out for people who save lazarus' revive vs the normals who suicide him on the first boss for the stat increase, or at least the first HP up.

it would definitely make it easier to be sure you have a way to kill yourself and don't have to worry about damage afterwards.

Dude, plan C is still useless on him for all but one character, effectively meaning Delerium is immune to plan C as well.

Well, if you have a trainwreck run, Plan C can be an easy Isaac kill at the very least. It could also provide help killing Ultra Greed (Or Greedier, if you're comfortable enough to beat Greed's 1st form on a trash run).

But yeah, it's mostly best used as Lazarus. Most characters have their "it's mostly useless for everbody else" kind of items. I can't see My Reflection being beneficial in most runs as anybody but Azazel, for example.

Not sure but I think I read somewhere that you will die first if you use Plan C against Delirium since it has a longer death animation than other bosses which means you would need an item that revives you in the same room and the only item that does that is Lazarus Rags. Again, I never tried it so I'm not sure
