Game not starting.

Hi, I looked on the "known issues" thread and did all that was wrote but still I have problems..
The game wont start. I tried uninstalling every DLC and the game itself and reinstalling but still not starting up.
It goes from "Opening" to "syncing with the steam cloud" to nothing happening.
I really want to play again, it was working fine before... What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
P.S. Already checked the cache of the game and everything...
P.P.S. I have all the DLCs at the moment. the problem is with AB+, which was working when I downloaded but now just doesn't.

I run it on a laptop with windows 8.1 and pretty good hardware, I have Open GL updated such as my graphic card drivers and pc drivers as well.

I had an issue with afterbirth + only too, which i solved through some windows update thanks to this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/bindingofisaac/comments/5lvqyf/afterbirth_not_launching/

Could be worth a go. Also if plus was working previously and you were using mods there is a good chance that they are causing the issue. Im yet to try them myself so dont know much about them but im sure with a search about solving mod related issues youll find a lot of options to try

This isn't a problem with Isaac, it's a problem with Steam, Steam is loading the game as a background process, and Windows is closing it because it shouldn't be there, and Steam is programmed to sync after the games closure, whether you closed it or not (Unless you tell it not to sync).

Check to see if what I think it is is what it is...
Open task manager, scroll down to background processes, switch to Steam and press play on Isaac, switch back to the task manager and if it shows up under background processes, then that is the problem.

The fix I use for this is apparently inconsistant and doesn't work for everyone, but it may be worth a shot.

In task manager, close all instances of Steam under Apps and Background Processes, restart your computer, load up Steam and it should be fixed.
