It has farming just like in every single other game.
Just that every area in this game is a 'hub', farm included.
To summ up the game it's a barebones mix of many genres.
First of all let's start with the explaining what this game is:
1) Main core of the game is 'visual novel'. Generally speaking the story is biggest part of the game with some gameplay splashed in between.
Story itself is pretty generic and barebones and characters are mostly just walking tropes.
But regardless - biggest part of your time(unless you skip cutscenes) will be visual novel elements.
2) Secondary part of the game is action combat.
It's decent but very simplistic/casual. Kinda reminds the usual action'ish mobile games where you mash buttons and it works out regardless of how bad you do.
You kinda create a team of 4 'monster squads' and mash their button. Block when boss does big attack and use ultimate when it's ready.
Action combat takes place in so called 'mazes' which are honestly.... less of a maze and more of a 'empty small areas' where you kill everything that moves before moving into another similar square.
Final square being a boss square after which 'maze' is complete and you return to main menu where you select hubs.
3) Farming part of the game - this is honestly mostly of a filler.
You plant seeds which grow into monsters you use. That's kinda it.
There are some barebones tool upgrades and such but if you played one farming game - you won't find anything new at all here.
4) Monster training - the final and most tedious part of the game. Loads of clicking between different menus due to how it's made.
5) Romance - barebones just like everything else.
In this game you got 'girls' who give you what's essentially your 'ultimate' skill.
Each girl has own element and that's pretty much it. You romance them by giving gifts > ultimate skill gets stronger.
There is some generic romance dialogue as well, but nothing too interesting.
It's one of those games where you need to turn off your brain to enjoy the mindless grind it offers.
You put little effort and see numbers go up and get some generic story going in the background.
