PESEdit 2014 Patch compatible?
Hey Guys,

is it possible to use the PesEdit Patch with this Steam-Version of Pro Evo 2014?

you see see your key, when you enter the game and it wants you to log into your Konami account...make a noise if u get it right...

Hi,

Please, try to follow the below steps very carefully and it should work.

1 - first of all you must have the datapack 2.0 and the 1.04 patch.

2 - before instaling the pesedit patch , go to the download folder where the pes was instaled (probably here if you downloaded via steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pro Evolution Soccer 2014\download) and copy both files 'dt50_001.cpk' (Data Pack 1) and 'dt500_7999999.cpk' (Data Pack 2). paste it on the folder C:\ProgramData\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2014\download.
(note that it is PROGRAM DATA, and not PROGRAM FILES folder)

3 - install the patch on the folder that the .exe is located, for us, that dowloaded via steam it should be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, and after the instalation is complete mark the 1.04 DVD version on the selector.

4 - now, if you try to run the game, you will not be able to do. you will have to crack it. go to this link: https://mega.co.nz/#!1lBU1DhZ!RUQGH1NrutuLtr4SB4-iN03EeTFNUulQwr9xzDWewDw and download the crack. extract both files into the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. COPY AND REPLACE.

now the game should work.

Lopes - thanks for your instruction. One question only: do you need to change register entery as addition to this?

From what i saw there was need to put some register entery for PES2013 edition. Not sure how it worked since i haven't bought previous PES. After i`ve done your steps i had information about wrong disk inserted (even after using crack), so I thought maybe there is something I made wrong. Anyway - my fight for PESEdit will be continued. Thanks once Daniel - many great goals scored for you...

Well, for now i give up on this. There is no way to start game version 1.04, datapack 2.0 and PesEdit 2.0. If i use cracked version and dvd starter i get info "wrong disk..."; if I use downloaded edition and no crack have no info at all; if I use cracked version and digital starter i have info "game is not installed".

Thats how Konami lost another client because football game in such shape is kinf of joke - mean how often you can play with FC Szelawce fcs.

I didn't try it out yet, but I doubt, that 87lopes.daniels solution can work, since PESEdit already contains a crack by itself. When you install PESEdit (as a user of the DVD-version), you don't need the DVD anymore.

@hanczak: From my previous experience if it says "game is not installed", you have to import the registry entry like in PES 2013. For 2014 it worked just before version 1.04/datapack 2.0 came out.

Anyway, it's not Konamis fault but EA's. They make exclusive deals with the clubs so that Konami can't make a deal with them too. Take Borussia Dortmund as an example, they will never be in a PES game because they sold the rights exclusively to EA Sports.
IMHO such deals shouldn't be allowed since they create a distortion of competition, so clearly EA is to blame for this!
