The game just hits the nerve that your pc can’t handle.
This.
1. Running the game from an HDD.
2. Low GPU memory (4GB) of GTX 1650.
He shifted the game from HDD to his SSD boot storage & the issue somewhat resolved. The occassional lag & crashes still persisted but they were not as prevalent as before.
The game just needs a lot of memory space & bandwidth. It runs poorly on old gen hardware due to the heavy use of graphical shaders. If none of the aforementioned factors that he encountered is applicable for you then I can only suggest a full driver update of your windows & GPU. See if the issue is fixed. Also, if you have ReBar or SAM in your BIOS then enable it because it actually helps a lot.
Let me know if any of my ideas worked.
I don't have the best hardware, but it meets the minimum requirements. I'll reinstall the graphics card drivers right away. My operating system runs on its own SSD, and the game runs on another SSD.
These are my components:
i7-9700k
GeForce 2070 Super
48GB RAM
I'll test it, thanks.
It's so random. Sometimes it happens when im 30 minutes in, in the lobby, looking at guns and modifying them. Sometimes it happens after 4 hours.
Do you use discord while playing the game? Try to play the game without discord and see if it stops the BSOD
This always happens, regardless of whether I have something open in the background or not. I've noticed that my PC gets so hot that I can barely touch the screen because the graphics card behind it is glowing. It's as if the PC is rebooting as a protective measure to prevent overheating or something else. Of course, there could be other reasons for this.
I hope this gets fixed.
It has happened to many people (me including). PC would just restart, and 30 minutes ago i encountered the blue screen for the first time in over 10 years that i even forgot how it looks like.
What's that supposed to prove?
Okay, There's an easy fix for you. Just disable the discord in game overly.
