Just feels too much like 2042

It is very odd that they went for this operator BF2042 style MP paired with CoD style gunplay. Just feels like they completely missed the mark on what Delta Force is. Played Delta Force games a lot growing up Black Hawk Down was one of my favorite military PvP FPS games. At this point I am only looking forward to the campaign but, that now makes me realize full price this is not the game for me. I dislike how devs have rebooted Delta Force and ignored what actual OG fans like or wanted.

You're not wrong. It's about as much Delta Force as 2042 is Battlefield. But that's how FPS gaming is these days. Just copy paste clown shooters sadly.

Black Hawk Dawn and Team Sabre and NovaLogic's Xtreme games were so good.. I don't understand why they made it free though.. Look what happened to World War 3, that game had promise and then it became free and BOOM, Mixed Reviews.

I was about to actually buy this game. Yes BUY it.. F**k

Hell afaics multiple of the operators doesn't wear helmets.. Some of them wears Headphones only and maybe a cap.. and... Bows?!?! wat. I don't remember Delta Force boys in Iraq or Syria or Afghanistan running around with Compound Bows.

Different devs. By August 2023, the Delta Force IP was sold to TiMi Studio Group.. The publisher it is a Chinese subsidiary from Tencent.

But to me, it looks a bit better, more realistic in animation movement and not so super fasty like BF games. I like it how it is right now.

Idk if it's "far better", but from what I've experienced so far, it should definitely be a good substitute for CoD and Battlefield.

dont play the hero shooter part then.. i played literally all the delta force games, BF games ( im an old feck, in my 50s) i want to see if they can do a better BF style game than the last BF game we got from EA. its free, so already it has that in its favour, no EA shareholders to please :D
