AMD's latest driver 25.3.1
Has it made the game better for anyone ? testing it right now. Not as smooth and stable as 24.5.1 and the popular 24.8.1 (only for Delta Force) but ofcourse we can base our entire PC just for this game... gotta update someday or another... or do you really have to ? I don't know. Been having heavy drops during smoke bomb shootouts and alot of players on same screen. Other than that its been a ok driver update...
any thoughts

ps. my pc is 7700XT, 5800X3D, 32gb ram and all running on a m.2 1tb. 1080p 144hz screen

As far as i try each driver, the one that are trully stable for AMD driver are around 23.7
23.10 you'd start to look at few artifact and all the newest driver are basically the same but in return there are few old games, specially with DX8 or 9 that will just instantly crashed on launch.

The reason why i am pretty much stay on 23.7 but the game won't let you in with this driver, least for the BHD for me.

I'm on it and played a bunch yesterday. While I still occasionally get some frame drops/choppyness it wasn't really that bad. 24.10 ran the best for me (no drops ever) but I'm going to stay on 25.3 because I don't play hyper competitive.

ok do you do any particular things in settings tho?
the famous -dx11 in command setting that everyone mentions?
anything please? or simple default ?

Yes I have -dx11 in both steam launch properties and the delta force launcher properties. I noticed my _max_ FPS was higher with it. Unsure if it really impacted the drops or not.

Running:
- Ryzen 9 7950x
- Radeon RX 6750xt
- Mix of low to extreme video settings in game.
- Adrenaline profile set to "performance" with a frame cap of 165.

I put -dx11 on both launcher and steam settings and it helped quite abit actually

Crazy thing is that on a very old driver like 24.5.1 i didn't need to do anything with Delta Force, it ran smooth. but I have to keep my drivers up to date for other games....

yep same, 24.8 and 24.10 both ran great for me but DF isn't the only game I'm playing so I would rather be on 25.3 and just deal w/ the occasional chops.

Thanks for taking time to reply. gaming can be such a headache sometimes
I totally get why people on console prefer it
I'm on 23.9.1 and crashes stopped lately (also after turning off my 2nd monitor during gameplay)
