For many folks its beyond having trouble playing it COOP with finding people its simply the fact to have a campaign that can be done Solo and enjoyed from a Solo perspective. Original advertisement of the campaign way back when this first was announced suggested it would be Solo or COOP (suggesting game would change or scale on # of people playing).
Folks are disappointed they have to play with others and can't take it at their own pace like with the Delta Force game from way back in the day.
