You can, but impossible, maybe you will complete the first mission, but second without teamplay not possible, lots of RPG just exploding your entire convoy and game over. Need cooperative work, with ammo drop and healing from medic. HP does not restores automatically.

So they completely lied about it (or misrepresented the campaign intentionally), when they knew MOST people eagerly anticipating the PvE campaign mode would expect to be able to solo it, no excuses! "Oh wait, we have to make sure we force them 'always online' so the cash shop with the game we built around it can function properly!"
I think I'm just about done here...pfft.

in all honestly i dont count having to close your lobby to other players as a "single player mode" thats just playing a co op experience solo and it shows how team dependent this "campaign" is.

Not true, I'm on mission 3 now all solo...then again I have over 15K hours in different fps games.

For the first mission, solo is ok so far, but...

completed past 2 missions solo, it took many tries. but I love it. punishing me for mistakes only makes me better.

Crybaby generation will see it nerfed into the ground im sure. no safety net for them qq

I run low on bullets, the AI doesn't provide me with ammo.
When I play with strangers, they don't know how to share medical kits or ammunition.

Solo is pretty much impossible. Enemies respawn endlessly so you cannot even clear and move, Its just more of the same Raid type nonsense that released in january.

yes, having complaints about the supposed 'campaign' lacking all of the features of a genuine singleplayer mode is certainly 'crybaby generation', good on you for having such an astute, interesting perspective!

i will say this game honestly did ruin my day, their trailers made it seem like it would be a lot like the 2003 game. it really feels like a spit in the face
