transfer from epic games to steam

hey guys, i currently play through epic games but realised that controller support works on steam supposedly. if i re download the game through steam will i still have my same account and keep my saved data do we think? any advice would be appreciated, thank you

there is no controller support on steam yet, but you should be able to transfer progress because you have to log in via a levelpass account, or whatever they call it.

Yes, transfer is easy. Settings and progress is online stored, apart from some graphic settings. I switched from steam launcher to the dev launcher and back again and all settings and prgress were always in place before I switched. And yes, controller support will come with console release first. Now, on every platform, steam, epic, dev is without controller support.

You have to login through the DF launcher on either platform so progress is whatever account you log into.
