Why am I such a bad shooter ?
Hi, guys,

I've been playing a lot on Operations Mode, especially the Zero Dam Mission.
I figured out how to make money by looting.
I've played a few times in Layali Grove.

Basically, I'm a Counter Strike player and I used to think I was a good shooter.

But, in Delta Force, I am always gamed by pro players.
What are their secrets for taking down other players so quickly ?

I feel bad.

Ammo makes difference. If you don't buy ammo with high pen then you won't do much dmg to enemy. Also there is shooting range, try different weapons with different attachments, since ballistic in this game is quite wonky.

Boils down to a few things I noticed:
1. They go for player hunting first, looting second
2. They use weapons that can 2-tap headshot you with high lvl ammo (purple or over)
3. They have very good eyesight, extremely quick lean-peek reflexes and godlike aim
4. They learned the maps and how to exploit cover and crazy angles
So, it's all about money and the equipment you get ? It's not really fair for players like me that get hard times to hoard and trade for a few $K after each extraction.
I cannot risk buying high pen ammo and lose it when I'm shot dead.
I've also noticed that without a high co-op squad, it's hard to make teamwork effective in high risk high reward missions.

CS is far from a good shooter. It can arguably make people worse at FPSs because of how different it is to aim and shoot games. Also once you grow used to CS style of combat, you realize how bad it actually is.
CS ruined my life.
Now, I have to restart from scratch with realistic terrain constraints and ballistics.

The extraction mode is high-risk, high-reward gameplay, meaning you don't try to be a cheapskate and make every single run as effective as possible. Bring only what you need to kill and heal quickly, anything lower tier will ruin you.

I can empty half a magazine with the cheapest ammo on a dude and he'll still be happily running around and taking me down in 3 shots because that's how much of a difference ammunition plays a role. Other than that, it's how you set up your weapons, game sense and ultimately, your skill.
OK, fellas.
Gonna try high pen ammo a few times as a test.
Other than that, I'm gonna try hard to make myself a better marksman.
