as much as i hate to tell you this, this isnt a software problem, yes it might be the only game that makes your pc do this, but its an issue on your side, check your memory sticks, check your windows install, its one of them and not an issue with software

I got the same problem yesterday. Ended up with pc shutting down and rebooting while playing DF, every 5 minutes or so.

I reseated memory, cpu, power cables, gpu, cleaned everything from dust and no issues for a few hours now.

I it still continues, i'll start swap-testing until i find faulty part but it's most likely psu.

No software should be able to shut down pc. Operating system would never allow it.

It shut down again so I guess psu swap is next.

How are your reboots? Still an issue?

This has happened to me twice as well. Not something that happens in other games.

I have cleaned everything and removed software permissions and everything, I have danced around and I don't know what else to do. What graphics card do you have that has the error? Mine is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

When was the last time you re-pasted your CPU?

That may be a power supply issue too. Might need to get a newer stronger one. People usually dump an entire PC but their power supply was just too weak.

In my experience, it was almost always a bad or underpowered PSU causing this issue. Seen this half a dozen times over the years. A good PSU isn't always very affordable, but that, IMO, is a must when playing a system intensive game. But that's just me, you issue might very well be different. But my advice is look for the simplest explanation. Just try using another PSU.

thats impossible, games and anticheats dont do that. the problem is your pc.

So far I've replaced my PSU then graphics card and PC is still randomly shutting down.

Now I've replaced RAM to see if that will change anything. If not then I'll replace CPU. If that doesn't help then I guess I'll have to replace MB. Not looking forward to it as it's a lot of work. And what if it still shuts down after that? I'll have to call ghostbussters I guess.

have you checked youre cooling system ? PC will boot to save youre MB from overheating, maybe check heatpaste + check if cooling system works properly and or set it up to max.
