Stupid ranking system

I had 100% win rate on comp and non comp warfare. 7/7 non comps won. And 3/3 comps won. That got me to private 3. I lost a single comp and despite being 2nd on the leaderboard i get demoted to private 1. A SINGLE GAME took me down 3 games worth how the hell can i get past private if you need a near 100% win rate to rank up??

Private 1 is 2 ranks ABOVE Private 3. You ranked up not down. Rank is based far more on your personal score and activities than winning.
