yes, with the NILE level editor. it was clunky, but it was awesome. Joint Operations is still king.
No, there isn't. Not yet.
Next month there will be a mission based PvE mode released (not same as extraction) but they have not yet revealed anything publicly to lead us to believe there will be a PvE mode that mirrors Operations Extraction game-play.
PVE extraction really isn't that plausible, you would have to completely separate PVE from PVP because it would be rather unfair to let you hop into PVP after obtaining your wealth in PVE.
One of the biggest issues I see in this game is too much aggro and not enough cautious movement and communication. Most of the streamers who cover this are in teams of guys they can count. I find myself on teams with guys that want to push people and it turns disastrous because its not COD. The goal is to extract without loss, the gravy is extraction with good loot.
You're not gonna be a 50/50 player in a game like this. Most of the dominant players are probs 35-40% successful on raids and that is the top of the game, if you're not cheating.
This is a game that takes time and investment to grow in. Too many people want to hop on and dominate due to watching streamers that they don't dig into the game. If you start smart and research the dynamics of the game you learn to use more of the resources for gaining that are afforded you that don't involve raiding,
Black Hawk Down will allow some to get their PVE fix but I don't think PVE extraction is worth it, because I will know after a playthrough where the bot danger is, making extraction super easy, and again, why separate the player base or force management of 2 separate stashes in PVE/PVP. it makes NO sense. You cannot allow the stash to work outside of the game mode it was built in or it will make the PVP players efforts a complete waste of time.
nobody needs pvp anymore since we already had UFC and cod
PvE mode would fix that for me.
PvE is more than plausible. Separating PvP and PvE is naturally the way to go and naturally those two modes never mix down the line. This leads to PvPvE players losing nothing and PvE players gaining a whole game mode to play. We all know majority of those players dont play PvPvE anyway.
PvE works in Tarkov like a charm. Whole modding scene making it the game people wanted it to be. IRR is shaping up awesome too. Only natural Delta Force takes this road too as a softcore extraction singleplayer.
edit: BTW Operation Serpentine, if you can believe the description, is fully PvE mode coming on Jan 1, 2025, but it worries me it will be pay-to-enter cash grab for raid vouchers.
There is no PvE Operations content. It is all PvPvE.
PvE solo/coop mode should be a thing. This game screams for it, so does the players.
We are getting one raid (Operation Serpent) 1st of January that is PvE but it is only for a weapon skin and doenst yield loot (most likely)
