Guys, seriously... Stop gaming and go study logic or smth that actually helps to build a decent thought process (and I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I'm serious, this is why so many people died during the pandemic, some idiot says smth somewhere and suddenly everybody is afraid of taking the vaccine)
It's obvious people hate kernel anticheats because it's harder to cheat. If this game removes this kind of anticheat, it'll become a Counter-strike 2 in a matter of hours.
The question is really, Do you trust the developers of the anticheat software enough to let them sit down at your unlocked computer, while you walk away and let them do whatever they want.
Because that is the access you are granting them.
EDIT: Thats what kernal level access would grant them anyway.
Unfortunately, good anti-cheat software today requires kernel-level protection. That's just how it is. Hate the cheaters, not the developers. People are constantly looking how to surpass the cheating protection so yes, it requires hardcore protection.
Most people here have insecurity issues and need a therapist and not be here complaining about it in a game's forum.
Complain about the game. The game has many issues, help the devs fix them by speaking up about them. Keep politics out of video games.
