NO, 3 is too many already
But matchmaking can already take a while even with just one party size queue. Having 3 separate party size queues with 6 different map queues, and god knows how many region queues, all that would only exacerbate queue times even further.
Solo players will leave the game altogether (and most of them probably have already) if solo queues are not added as a permanent mode. Most of us are not mazohists, I will leave game too if solo queue is not added. So I doubt it's solo players who impact the mm time currently.
I'm always for;
- give players more options for mm
- listen to playerbase so that there are enough players for mm
Like Black Ops 3. In the beginning you could play any mode. There were like 30+ queues you could get into. After a few months, certain gamemodes didn't have enough players in queue to even play those modes anymore. Years later, only 1-2 queues were active. In 2024 it's only 1 queue active.
