Bad Performance on AMD GPUS
I have ryzen 9 5950x and a rx 7800 xt with 64GB of RAM, and the game at high settings and AMD FSR 2.0 from 75 fps drops to 40 so many times.
Even COD BO6 that is more heavily is more optimized and I dont have any FPS drop.

Turn off sam and roll back to older drivers. 5600x3d 6800xt I'm running low 4k with fsr and hits 100-200fps levels.

@itz try one thing. extreme gpu settings and only low terrain/geometric/distance details. is the fps any better on that. i will respond to you if you tell me if that helped. i want to check something with you on that part. dont ask why just try that and i will tell you why.

Turn all the new features off like VSync - AMD FSR etc.

I have the same problem too. It only happens when I stream discord or obs. then after a while the fps drops come. even if discord stream is turned off. I also have stronger image tearing as a result. It also happens to me when I turn off my monitor and turn it on when G-Sync / FreeSync is activated. Therefore start the game, do not activate any streams or play around with your FreeSync / G-Sync, do not turn off the monitor and do not go to the desktop tab often.

In the 64 player mode there are massive frame drops.

Operations is fine.

his cpu should be fine. our cpus arent that much faster and i get it to run extreme on 130-144 FPS depending on gpu limiting
On a 9800X3D with a 7900XTX, usually locked in at 120 fps, but every now and then drops to 80s and stutters hard, not sure why. Messed with AMD Adrenaline and in game settings, turned off Frame Gen and it helped some. If anyone knows the optimal settings for this game to mitigate the frame drops and stutters let me know.

This is what happens when you dont understand your own hardware / software. As an AMD user, Ive been through this soo many times. Tweaking ♥♥♥♥ to get every last drop of power typically results in stutters, packet loss, etc.... Hard to convince people that get their education on youtube that their lack of understanding typically leads to this. The games optimization isnt bad, your settings / tweaks are.
I have some trouble with drive 24.12.1, try downgrade to drive 24.8.1 and the game should work fine...

+1 but i will say it wont apply to all people out there. some have just bad luck.

Frame stutters are just a thing with AMD hardware not much can be done about it. While the X3D chips do offer higher FPS they are pretty bad at consistent frametimes and 1% lows.

Gave up on AMD after 20+ years because of all these problems with the newer hardware.

7800 here, game runs flawlessly
My friend is using a similar setup to mine and gets almost 2x fps on higher settings. We both have a 5600x cpu but my GPU is the 5600xt and his is a 2060 super. Both have 32gbs ram at 3200mhz and both installed on m.2 drives. He runs at medium/high settings with no air upscaling and gets around 120-150 fps. I can't even run low everything and get 110. I have to have low settings with fsr at performance to hit 120fps In match.

Side not his in game on some maps hits almost 200fps depending on inside or out and what's going on. Mine can't even hit 140 indoors
