Delta Force worth getting into or not
Thinking of getting into DF, but seems to be a lot of issues from bans for no reason, slow development with basics like controller support still missing

It seems for guides that the game is way overly complicated with huge backpack system, too many variants of armor and ammp

Is it worth getting into DF if you have not already started ?

Its worth cause its really free, gaining battle pass etc. is much faster than in cod. Check it out. Liked it much much more than the newest battlefield. unfortunately waiting for support atm, after a 10 years ban :steamfacepalm: check out all your (rgb-) or streamer tools before starting.

Absolutly yes, game is very good, awesome. Devs put much effort on it and truly listen players.

However, its killing COD and many childs but also hack companies are trying to boicot it.

So, yes, game is absolutly worth it.

If your PC is clean and you keep it clean.. you have literally nothing to worry about.

People just have apps open that start with Windows, like Steel Series Sonar etc that CAN give you an unfair advantage, or programs like Wallpaper engine which often triggers bans in a few games.

Or mouse/keyboard software open which can have loaded macros, a common way to soft cheat.

All you want open is... the game, steam and discord if you use it.. everything else should be closed.

If you do that, you're fine.

How does Sonar give you an unfair advantage?
So far it is exactly what i thought an over complicated junk fest, no wonder they can`t get controller support, there aren`t enough buttons for all the crap

I have played around 20 matches. most likely 15 of those were staggering defeats, like I mean we REALLY got our sh!t pushed in.

the other 5 matches were the other way around: we steamrolled right over them.

the maps seem to need some balancing in areas where bottlenecking occurs.

the gunplay is nice and the customization is really good.

its free - give it a try.
Game is getting worse by the day... too many suspecious ppl around, and gold tier "streamers" going into "easy" mode.. sure the game is free... but it was better at start as usual.. now the fulltime streamers and ppl who doesnt do anything but play this game, and the cheaters are taking over.... also... starting to be pay to win.... Game is not i a good state right now imo.
it looks good , that's all, the only good gaming part is black hawk down and it's not very viable... Of many intents I have only had 1 good 4 players coop match last days

no controller support? bummer

I got mixed feelings in whatever I would recommend getting into it or not.

The core gameplay is really fun, but it comes with some important notes:

• The game isn't just skill based, but also heavily progression-based in a RPG-like style (in PvP).
Long story short, guns levels up as you use them and as they level up, they get access to accessories that boost or balances the gun's stats. The early unlocks aren't really much of a advantage, but once players unlocks the magazines/ammo types and a few other late-unlockable options of the guns, there's a clear advantage between new players vs players who unlocked stuff.

• The game might not run well on certain systems.
As you might have noticed, the opinion of the players on how the game run is heavily divided between "it runs like a charm" and "Argh! I got low FPS with a god-like machine!" There isn't much of a middle ground. The game runs 3 (pvp) to 4(coop) clients process at the same time to manage everything and some systems don't like that.

• The game anti-hacking is extremely sensitive.
Long story short, you should not use any form of software that record, access or changes anything within the game. You have to make sure such program aren't even running in the background as a process or anything. You also got to make sure that thing in the system stops/hold the game's clients in any way by white listing the game with any 3rd party Anti-virus (if applicable), and running ALL of the executable as administrator.

• The results in PvP can be often questionable.
If I had to point out the worse part of the game, gameplay-wise, it would be how bad the camera is being handled compared to your character's body. From your point of view, you're hiding low behind a rock or a concrete block while, for the opposite player, they can see the top of you head clearly over it or around a corner and you get 1-shot by someone who, visually, seems behind the wall. That's because the camera seems to be located around the back of the jaw position of your character. In other words, what you see visually is not a representation of your actual location for the opponent.
I have seen this from both sides: the one who shoots and the one who get shot.

• Coop/PvE is among the hardest modern FPS you'll find around.
To put it in simple terms, the Coop/PvE mode is old-school hard with high amount of details, meaning the time you take to notice and aim at an enemy is often the same it takes for it to shoot you once or even twice. Depending on the weapon used, that can kill you on the spot. The amount of ammunition you bring with you is limited and having at least 2 players together is highly advisable if only as to be sure to not empty out your ammunition. Also, the NPC will move around and flank you now and then (if the environment allows it) which can feel like you get instantly killed from behind out of nowhere.

• Speaking of NPCs, the PvP mode is "supported" by AI-run players.
Some try to convince others around that the PvP mode (Conquest) doesn't have AIs, but the truth is that any matches will have AI "fill in" spots left by players who are leaving (with that player's name) until another player come in and take over. As such, every match that are quite one-sided will ultimately be even more one-sided by the AIs that will fill in the space from rage-quitters. Those AI aren't "useless", but they are acting quite stupidly in a sense that they will all run in a noticeable line toward various points on the maps similarly to a pack of zombies regardless of their class and weapons.

This can result in the following events during Conquests matches:
• A bunch of "players" keep respawning at the same point, with random classes & weapons, but they all act like Assault and rush toward the front-line of the defense point (or toward a single flag if in the assault team) I have seen a group of 3 assault, 3 medics and 2 snipers (both with bolt action rifle) keep respawning at a flag (on defense) who start running in a single group (similar to a pack of animal) toward the front-line which is in the open just to be mowed down by a tank that kept running them over. None of those ever switched to Engineer (with AT tool/weapon) or anything and they just kept respawning and running to their death.

• A bunch of medics will rush all together on a single downed player at a time.
This is kinda funny when you're a medic and you see someone down and a bunch of 3-4 medic runs in (not checking any of their surrounding) and they ALL attempt to revive the same downed player while there's a bunch around whoever they are onto. And they will NOT change to another player as long as whoever they selected first is revived.

• Snipers won't be snipers.
The AI-driven "fake" players who spawn with sniper rifles won't act like snipers. They will rush forward like assault.

• No tools are used by the AIs.
Strangely, the AI driven player characters aren't using tools. They AI don't use their (depending on their class) syringe, electric/scout arrows, AT/mines or even their exo-skeleton ability. They don't switch to their pistol either. They are only shooting their primarily weapon.

Game needs a lot of things, but is fun to play and worth your investment of some time, because its free. I would not spend any money on the game the way it is currently. I can only speak for operations.

1. Battle pass limits per week. Like wtf is this, you can only go so far in points its capped.

2. No real divisions between beginners and advanced players. They have made modest changes, but still not good enough. You will get gear smashed by higher ranks in easy mode. Higher tier Ammo being the biggest decider, which newer and mid tier players struggle to afford taking in on a regular basis do to lack of funds.

3. No real end game for PvPvE... Once you level and have all the best stuff, not much other to do than to crush lower level players trying to level up causing an imbalance and game flow problem. Higher levels with limitless income have no gear fear and no consequence, leading to lower end players playing hide and seek to survive.

4. If you don't have friends on you will suffer playing solo vs 3 man stacks, which is annoying in itself. I have gotten 3 man wipes, but it was a christmas miracle with all their abilities being used against me. This is only possible if they run similar gear and ammo comparable to yours. or you get shEET on quickly.

5. Loot can be found around the map, but the good loot which you need to level and get better gear and for quests etc.. tends to be in certain areas of the map, locked down by 3 man kited out stacks. Looting these areas is near impossible at times, even in easy mode.

6. Match times tend to be awful with 20 to 30 min wait times for some maps, that's if you get it to load at all. There are maps for quests I have given up getting on, because of the long wait times in q. It tends to be shorter at peak play times and more opportunities, but there are still waits of up to 10 min to get a match.

Sure, you can get a few hundred hours of enjoyment out of DF. Yes it has alot of issues. Still a very decent shooter for a free game.

If at ANY POINT, the devs can just arbitrarily say "♥♥♥♥ this software for this particular brand of gaming mouse, its cheating, ♥♥♥♥ you for using it, get banned for 10 years, your device and IP blacklisted, you can never play the game again, rtard." then Why would I play other then to test it, not to mention this is comp call of duty on steroids. How are new players supposed to get into this AT ALL without being stomped, never gaining ranks, losing ranks because "you didint get kills fast enough"?, etc?

Maybe game devs wouldn't ban mouse software if the Mouse company didn't start adding macros and recoil assist features etc....
