This game is utterly unplayable

Hardware:

CPU:11th Gen I7
GPU: RTX 3090
PSU: 750W

I've tried alot of steps and checks.

Ran SFC /SCANNOW
Ran Dism

I've seen things from PSU and not selecting unlimited FPS. Uninstall both steam and game. Done both. NOTHING worked...
I know it's not a hardware issue. I work in I.T. so I keep my ♥♥♥♥ up-to-date. Most of the comments I'm seeing are just trashing the guy or giving poor advice. Could it be a hardware issue for some, sure. Not in this case! Hardware is good all points to software issue. What's worse is that event viewer isn't even logging anything making this more frustrating.

The last attempt is going to epic for install. So far no issues I've seen have been written about for epic launcher. So, if that works then the installer or set up that is on the steam platform is broken in some form or the game is not optimized properly. I'm willing to say it's a little of column A and column B. It would also actually help if peeps weren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the OPs either. They just want to enjoy and join in the fun.

I'll update this post later if epic is successful.

One other thing is that I was timing these events. 1min 37secs was the usual crash time. After uninstalling steam and game and reinstalling. This bumped up to 7min 47secs. It's insane! I enjoy the game but can't recommend with this garbage situation even.

Just installed on epic... Performing a stop watch to see if it crash and time it takes for crash. Will report shortly!
Update: Timer is at 3:55 and still continuing to play. So 2x the original time. Will update at the 7 minute mark.
At 8min 28 seconds it crashed however I got a few new clues that have not ever showed up til now

The AntiCheatExpert Service service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly.

Also looking into overlays being an issue like gamebar, which i've now eliminated as a variable (disabled it). Will post shortly

Made it to 11 minutes this time. Still crashing. Haven't found any other solutions to this issue. NO OTHER GAME does this. Still troubleshooting but pulling back a bit as this has become a frustration of sorts that needs to mellow.
same mine keeps crashing after update
Okay break time over! going to try some more troubleshooting! Gonna keep ya posted!
go to window control panel to find the problem, my pc is 12700f and 3080,i am 100%sure not hardware problem, the window told me the tbs browser.exe this ♥♥♥♥ always crashing, and which is the game client, it makes my window crash for 2 times already, my pc was like suddently shut off
Tried a regedit step for nointeractive (something, stepped away) and still no dice. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuts. Also ninja what you're saying must be a language barrier thing because it does not make sense to me!

I am getting the issue also. I will be playing and my pc will just restart. No other game. Never had an issue before. 3070 32 GB RAM, a couple years old. I have tried everything
Will try again tomorrow. I got work in the morning!
Do keep us updated good chap, this has been bugging me ever since the new BHD update. Before that sometimes my CPU temps would be 85+ when its usually around 70 when playing other games -- so Delta is the only irregularity here, lots of bugs
I got banned for a whole day for quiting mid game because I crashed too much.
Rtx4080s
R7 7700x
64gb ram
I wound randomly drop from 300 fps to 5 fps and crashed

I also did some testing. Apparently the game's FPS ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, set to 200+ fps. Despite of:

1. I've turned on Vsync. and my monitor is 120Hz;
2. I've turned off Vsync, and turned on FPS limiter on in-game setting to 120 fps;
3. I've turned on Vsync via NVIDIA Control Panel;
4. I've turned on FPS limit via NVIDIA Control Panel;

All these workaround seems pointless. My PC still rebooted after 2-3 hours gaming. I'm beginning to think the AEC forces my CPU getting overloaded.

No way is because the DLSS Frame Gen.
same here, keep crashing after the BHD update

Don't worry! I'm not giving up! The I.T. in me refuses to let this beat me!
