Are there really a lot of cheaters?

Haven't downloaded the game yet. Despite how popular this game is I've been reading a fair share of negative reviews and a lot of criticism about poor balancing and cheating. Is this true?

OP before you decide to install, just look at the many, many reviews as well as their Reddit. As previously stated, there's been weekly ban waves that just get bigger and bigger. I agree that there needs to be hardware bans ON TOP of the 10yr bans. It's pretty ridiculous right now.

hardware bans already take place however super easy to bypass with hardware spoofing tools.

there is no actual way to ban hackers permanently, regardless of the game.

DO hardware spoofing tools only work as a preemptive measure or can work even after hardware ban?

NEver cheated and hate cheaters but just curious.

In every single War Match there is minimum 1 cheater, you guys are just to fckn stupid to spot them. They prefire, they aim at you through walls, they always headshot, they kill you in a millisecond, and you clown tell us there are no cheaters. This game is infested with cheaters.

That's not cheating, that's playing hacker lady, hearing footsteps, knowing approach angles, seen feet from under props, like a car or having enough game sense to realise the last 3 throwables came from a spot.

Because if it is cheating, the person doing it is somehow performing worse than me rolling a pistol only farm.

I’ve already reached Marshal, and not once have I thought I was killed by a cheater. I’m on SEA server and most of the time I face top-ranked players in my matches, I can kill them just as easily as they can kill me. Most of the complaints are simply due to a skill issue lol. I’m not sure about operations though, since I’ve never played those.

Wrong. Depends on your region, Asian servers are flooded with cheating. Guaranteed at least 2 per lobby.

Yes a LOT of cheaters.
Especially aimbotters.
But you also get quite a few people who can magically shoot through solid walls and people immune to damage.
Best one yet was when I snuck up on a sniper and stabbed 5 times.. Then the sniper just looked at me like I was stupid and shot me with a pistol..
It's a good game overall but I am however not spending ANY money on it until they actually manage to deal with cheaters properly.

Ja, es gibt Cheater, aber die hatten es schon immer gegeben, egal in welchem Spiel.
Das, was sie ansprechen, hinter der Wand muss nicht unbedingt ein Cheat sein, da dieses Spiel ein Net/Hit-Reg-Problem hat. Das heißt, dass wenn sie um die Wand gelaufen sind, schon Schüsse bekommen, die aber später bei ihnen eintreffen als Verzögerung. Dieses Phänomen hatte zum auch Xdefaint. Nicht alles hat gleich etwas mit Cheat zu tun!
