It gives you 0 exp, though, and doesn't allow upgrading weapons playing it.
So I doubt anyone plays it.
Next, the game is free 2 play, there are no game sales, and why would the developer cave to a group of players that probably doesn't even make up 0.1% of the playerbase.
People who came for this, came mostly over for the features all the originals had. Not some new take on it thats MP only.
Ever heard of this teeny, tiny, little game called Escape from Tarkov? Ever heard of how teeny, tiny, little and insiginificant PvE mode is? Oh wait... RIGHT, it's actually REALLY popular!
I've tried SPtarkov. It's crap. It's clunky. The performance is trash. The graphics are crap.
If you have AI already in place, why not give a game mode to let some of us enjoy that? Isn't that better than us not even playing your game?
Also, bots were not taken out of warfare. But I'm not sure if you're talking about operations or warfare. Devs confirmed bots are in warfare but they didn't go into number details, at least in what I have read and seen in their videos answering questions. If you want a bot only warfare match, pick A/D drill as the game mode.
Are you talking about in-game purchases? Otherwise, the game is f2p. So at this point, game sales is not an issue or concern unless they go paid at release in the future...
EDIT: apparently they changed A/D drill game mode to "field training"
