Before this "lag compensation" tech, everything was "server side prediction". You had to predict every movement of your opponent, such as aiming ahead of a moving target regardless if the weapons are projectile based or hitscan based (Battlefield 2 falls in this category). Battlefield V for instance still does it the old way if your ping is above ~160ms.
i agree, cant count how many times these have happened. feels like they kill me in 1-2 rounds as i put 20 rounds out 4 hit and i die. feels bad or worse like your playing against cheaters
