Think they'll ever implement it?
The game would be WAY more entertaining with, say, smoke and snipers turned off. Made into an actual shooter and not a 'house on fire' simulator where you just run around nonstop in a white haze.
Maybe even an option to turn off the specialist 'powers' crap.
Just food for thought. Would turn a baseline mediocre game into a good one, I think.

Private servers would be excellent for this game, for many reasons.

Worlds abundant of excellent shooters. Why play this one if you think this ones take on snipers, smoke and "powers" are crap?

I certanly hope they do, if not only for the pleaseure to explore the maps and learn them to have change against the tarkovers

I think the game lives from the hero abilities, I wouldn't take them away but redesign the maps instead. Choke points on huge battlefield style shooters aren't a good idea, better use more structures that can be destroyed and spread out the fighting to different more open locations instead of squeezing many people into one place.
