Fix stuttering.
I have in i7 12700K, RX 7900XTX, 32GB of ram, and use NVMe SSD's to run the game. I get well over 144 FPS but have it capped.
I have done a million different things to get the game to stop stuttering, but I cannot get it to stop. It's really hard to play with all this stuttering. The alpha and demo's before release had no stuttering but now they do.

Please fix the stuttering, devs!

6950x and 6950x here : no stutter / 1440p all max - 165fps

Geez. Still having issues with the stutter. RTX 3060 12GB. Overall game runs smooth 120fps full HD, but every few seconds goes 40-50, no matter if in heavy fight or empty field. I also get a black frame from time to time.

It is a game issue. All my games run fine except this one. I have reduced stutters by turning off fsr. Repeat reduced. Maybe try disabling amd overlay.
Agrees I have a 9700x with a 7900XT red devil and it shutters like hell. Tried all the online posts and nothing fixes it. The new update us even worse than before.

USB trick worked for me but now after the update its worse than ever.

people need to stop suggesting the same nonsense/placebo fixes - this one is on the developers exclusively - the game has gone from running perfectly smoothly in alpha - to being stuttery in season 1 to now being unplayable in season 2 - "downgrade drivers", "launch commands that don't do anything" or "turn off performance features like resizable bar" is not a satisfactory fix - the devs needs to openly acknowledge they're aware of the problem and deliver a fix for everyone

I have the same issue. Prior to season 2 update, steam launch commands "-dx11 -useallavailablecores" Fixed my issue.
Stuttering is back.

I disabled all apps, including MSI afterburner and any other app that has an overlay. I do have SAM enabled, and will try disabling it.

It's not a problem with my hardware or system. It is, in fact, an issue with the game. I have never had an this issue (or any others) with any other game.

The fact that a game has trouble with SAM is nuts. If you look on the games discord, or do a quick google search, there are a lot of people having this issue with this game.

I played the demo and beta without any issues. It ran perfectly. I have only had this issue after the game released. The game needs some work and I hope they can fix this issue soon.

Disabling SAM for one game is such a dumb proposition. Some games require SAM in order to run their best, and I hate disabling it.
It's the game, tons of people have the issue since day 1.
It also seems to randomly appear after updates.

You can try to rebuild the shader cache, but it might come back after a game or two. It's a common issue with UE5.

Downgrading GPU driver might not be the solution, it was already there when the game came out during the old AMD driver.

It's just on dev's side to fix these things. It's linked to the shaders.

As for SAM, it's basically required to run things better, SAM is an upgrade as REbar is for Nvidia.
If something isn't working well with SAM or REbar, it's on the app's fault.
This is Unreal Engine 4, not 5, and indeed both of these engines experience stuttering!

I don't need a fix.
Capped the fps to 120 since the first day of release and have no problems with stuttering.
Learned this trick since playing Insurgency Sandstorm.
UE4 engine game? Cap fps or enjoy stuttering.
And no it's not suggestion to you. You can do whatever suits you better.
But that definitely works for me. And not only with this game.
On consoles, devs do it for you.
On PC, you are expected to be a full-grown engineer and know your hardware.

turn off super resolution, fluid motion frames etc in radeon driver
"stop suggesting placebo fixes"

2 of the next posts = "cap your fps!, turn off AMD performance/AI features that are likely already off"

I specifically said: "And no it's not suggestion to you."
Also, you are not OP, nor moderator, so stop acting like one.

The stuttering is CRAZY! From 144 down to 10 every 30 seconds or so.
OP is asking the devs to fix the stuttering, not asking for placebo suggestions that don't actually work

They don't work for you, but work for other people.
Live with it.
If you want all your problems to be solved by somebody else, you chose the wrong gaming platform, pal.
Just buy a console.
On console devs know _exactly_ which hardware they have to optimize their game for. Then you can demand "no stuttering" from them.
On PC? With hundreds of thousands possible combinations? It's not possible to perfectly optimize the game for every combination of hardware. Especially with unlocked frame rate when computer is working in stress test mode all the time.

they don't "work" they might mitigate some other issue which makes the game feel like it's running better - but the core issue still remains

i'm not your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pal
