Fix stuttering.
I have in i7 12700K, RX 7900XTX, 32GB of ram, and use NVMe SSD's to run the game. I get well over 144 FPS but have it capped.
I have done a million different things to get the game to stop stuttering, but I cannot get it to stop. It's really hard to play with all this stuttering. The alpha and demo's before release had no stuttering but now they do.

Please fix the stuttering, devs!

ive put almost 50 hours into the game and havent had a single stutter, its gotta be your pc or game.

kinda agreed, sorry to tell you, iv got a bit old-ish parts but i'v been building rigs for myself whenever i need for years... the game is quite well optimized (but obv not for ALL rigs such as AMD cpu users)

the stuttering.... do you use any external game settings changer? such as nVidia control panel? try via them...

Just recently watched a vid of of a guy banging his head against the wail due to stutters. Turned out it was MSI after burner overlay. He found out about it in a 6 year old reddit post. If you run it don't. If that fixes it go find the video. There is a fix

I use Msi Afterburner with Rivatuner Overlay and no Stutter on Nvidia gpu :D
Dragon Dec 26, 2024 @ 7:35am
I disabled all apps, including MSI afterburner and any other app that has an overlay. I do have SAM enabled, and will try disabling it.

It's not a problem with my hardware or system. It is, in fact, an issue with the game. I have never had an this issue (or any others) with any other game.

The fact that a game has trouble with SAM is nuts. If you look on the games discord, or do a quick google search, there are a lot of people having this issue with this game.

I played the demo and beta without any issues. It ran perfectly. I have only had this issue after the game released. The game needs some work and I hope they can fix this issue soon.

Disabling SAM for one game is such a dumb proposition. Some games require SAM in order to run their best, and I hate disabling it.

It is a game issue. All my games run fine except this one. I have reduced stutters by turning off fsr. Repeat reduced. Maybe try disabling amd overlay.

I have the same build but a 9800x3d instead this is definitely a game problem.

It's your graphics driver.
Go back to 24.5.1

There is nothing wrong with AMD _CPU_, but oviously there is a problem with AMD _GPU_.
But people already proposed numerous solutions to the problem in other topics.
OP just need to use search.

I have searched a lot. All of the fixes I have seen have not worked for me so far. I have 2 more options I'm going to try before I completely give up on this game.

Don't know why but it worked

1. Go to "Power Options"
2. Choose "High perfomance"
3. Klick on "Change Settings"
4. Click on "Change andvanced Power settings"
5. Disable "USB selective suspend setting"

Even the intro is smooth ;)

It's the game, tons of people have the issue since day 1.
It also seems to randomly appear after updates.

You can try to rebuild the shader cache, but it might come back after a game or two. It's a common issue with UE5.

Downgrading GPU driver might not be the solution, it was already there when the game came out during the old AMD driver.

It's just on dev's side to fix these things. It's linked to the shaders.

As for SAM, it's basically required to run things better, SAM is an upgrade as REbar is for Nvidia.
If something isn't working well with SAM or REbar, it's on the app's fault.
