No way to level up operators if playing only one game mode

It's a very similar problem like I posted in

A lot of people just don't enjoy both modes and tend to stick to only one mode.
But to level up the operator, a player is forced to play the mode his doesn't like.

Please modify the operator leveling up system so people can grind their rewards by playing only one mode.

I mean, for now I just refuse to level up operators because I don't wanna play "operations".
No matter how easy it is, I'm not gonna play this rat circus.

Relateable, but operations is nice, except for the cheater every 5-10 games.

What level are you having this issue? From what I can see so far you have a mix of both and only need to complete a few. So you could unlock with operations, warfare, or a mix of both. This is what happens at level 4 where you have to complete 3 goals only and are given 5 or 6 tasks. At higher levels does it change this?

3 operations, or 2 warfare and 1 operations... at least for my operators on higher lvls

Nevermind, I checked... it's 2 operations, 2 warfare and 1 combined (like 5 melee kills in any mode)

SO why do you guys mimimi again?

but you don't need to.
You have 6 challenges for operators for each rank,

3 operations and 3 warfare challenge

You only need to do 3 to progress to the next level

I mostly play warfare mode and leveled up operator to 9 level so I don't know what issue you got.

Game devs should not assume players are okay to be forced to grind in game mechanism they don't like.
Not gonna fall into this vicious trap from game devs.

I'm new so... What exactly happens if you level up? What do levels do, and what happens if you go down a level?
