Banned for 10 Years Please Be Careful with VPNs

So first off genuinely great game and I enjoyed it a lot. I am a big fan of shooters like BF and Planetside 2. I was just randomly banned today for 10 years for violating the user agreement and think its connected to the fact my current lodging has their internet run through a VPN from Japan to the US.

I genuinely don't cheat and believe that software or macros or whatever people use is just a ticking time bomb for all your hard work to blow up in your face. I honestly don't understand what just happened so I caution anyone else running the game for a bit.

A lot of games block VPNs, like BF 2042, which won’t let you connect to their servers as long as you’re using a VPN, and that’s much better and completely normal. Cheaters from other regions who are banned in their own countries use VPNs to come cheat on our servers.
