Everything that sucks in this game...
Right, where to begin. Lets talk about all the things that suck and need to be changed or outright removed. Im mostly walking for those that play Warfare because its the most causal and the thing that most people likely play.

1) Ascension. This map needs to go. Its downright awful, ESPECIALLY the Blitz version. Nothing like a big circle as the lanes for a map. In Warfare mode, theres basically nothing good about it. Theres snipers everywhere, tanks camping on hills, WAY too much open ground so infantry are basically limited in where they can go. In Attack and Defend, the cave system is just dumb and not fun, it needs to be opened up with more routes into the caves, not just 2 entrances. This map needs a massive rework or just to be removed completely. No one would miss it.

2) Smokes. Seriously what is with the smokes? Why does the medic get smoke grenades AND a smoke drone? The smoke spam is so bad, half the map looks like the inside of a housefire. And why does an Assault class get smokes? Thats just dumb. The only person who should have a smoke should be the medic, and it should be limited to 1 maximum. Either limit the number of smokes or maybe replace the assault class smokes with flashbangs instead.

3) Sound. Or lack of should i say. Why is it when im being shot at, theres no gunshot sounds? The only time i know im being shot at is when i have either been hit, or i see the person directly in front of me. The number of times I have been getting shot at from the side or back and theres absolutely NO AUDIO. Yeah, fun mechanic. Nothing like having someone shoot you from 10ft away and you have NO IDEA THERE THERE because the game has no sound from gunshots that are not from your own gun, or footsteps for that matter. Fix it.

4) TTK. What the hell is this super fast TTK? As much as I enjoy melting people from 100m with an M4 on full auto like a laserbeam in 0.3 seconds, how the hell is that fun for the other person? One second your fine, someone shoots at you, then you get 0 opportunity to do anything about it because they instantly hit you 5 times and your dead. And dont give me that this is supposed to be ReALiSTic! The game has operators shooting swarms of toxic drones from her chest. The TTK needs to be increased because its just not fun to be killed in half a second by an MP5 from 100m away, especially when combined with the no gunshot audio.

5) Operators. Did you learn nothing from BF2042 and how much everyone hated this? These unique operators with specific skills and gadgets SUCK! Especially these ones, the only useful one is the Sniper class with the bow and arrows, and the 2 assault classes, everyone else blows. Heres an idea, why not try doing whats always worked, let THE PLAYERS decide what gear they want. Just give us the class system that BF4 had and let me decide what gadget and perks and grenades i want, dont force me to because you know what happens? Everyone uses the same 3 Operators because everyone else isnt useful. Also the class specific weapons inside of existing categories is dumb. What does the support class have access to the AUG but the Assault class doesnt? Thats stupid.

6) Marksman Rifles. Just what is the point? They are just semi auto assault rifles. They do no damage, have slow bullet velocities, they are just bad. They need a damage buff or maybe a higher headshot multiplier because using them just doesnt work. The only one thats even mildly decent is the SVD, and even then it sucks till you get it past level 35.

7) Shotguns. Basically just BB guns. They dont kill anyone because this game suffers from the typical video game trope that shotguns shoot paper pellets after 5m. Maybe give us the option to use slugs? Or make it so they dont have the range of a super soaker.

8) Suppressors. What do they even do? Do you show up on the minimap when using them or not? What does "Weak minimap visibility" even mean? Does that mean when i shoot with a suppressor that i show up on the minimap after 20 shots, 10 shots or 1 shot? Seriously, some explanation would be nice. But with the current state of the gunshot audio, it doenst matter if you use one or not, no one can hear you shooting anyway.

9) Grenade spam. Just put a cooldown on grenades, its so dumb that i can just run around and pick up a new one from ammo crates anytime i want. Ive had games where i have thrown 10 grenades in a minute because people have thrown so many ammo boxes down. On Attack and Defend, its utter garbage. Also why does the Support class grenade have a 3 second fuse and the assault class have a 6 second fuse? Its the same grenade.

10) Weapon attachments. I actually like the weapon attachments, they look cool and are very useful, well, theres like 5 that are useful. The rest or just kinda... there. It would be nice to be able to select the best to worse attachments based on certain parameters, rather than just having a jumbled up list. Its very annoying to unlock a new attachment and it appears 4th from the bottom on the list. It would be nice to be able to select all fore-grips in descending order for handling, or control. Something like that. And maybe rework some of the utterly useless ones so they are actually worth using, like 70% of the stocks, especially the later unlocked ones are pretty much useless. Why would I ever use use the Skeleton stock which i unlock at about level 40+ when its stats are inferior to the 416 Light stock which i get at level 6? These really need a rework.

11) Eye height bullet path. The fact that bullets come out of your eyes instead of your gun is just annoying. People just sit behind cover showing the top of their head and spray bullets from a gun thats behind cover, and somehow someone thought that was a good idea? Yeah, fun, trying to hit a sniper in the top of their head from 200m with an Uzi because their hiding 95% of their character model behind a rock. Cmon, add some height over bore or something.

12) Menus. Why are there 89 menus for rewards and challenges? Just add a "collect all" button or something. Also an option to skip the end of match stats would be nice.

Anyway, these are just the things that i could come up with on the spot. Theres obviously a bunch more like the sucky netcode that gets you shot around walls, the lack of being able to pick a server, because i LOVE having 200 ping all the time because im being connected to a server in China. This game could actually be good with a bit of care and attention.

I don't agree on the TTK and Sniper tho.
I think the problem isn't the low TTK, 4 bullets foir most weapons, it's the lack of recoil once you properly build you weapons and damage drop of need to be increased. Also 800 RPM for assault rifle iss too much but that's another problem.

I completly disagree on snipers i have very good games with them, bu also frustrating one, they need some changes for sure, but the 2 shots kill need to stay, better snipers with 1shot kills would be unplayable. I don't really know how they can fix the snipers tbh.

You speak about the SVD, but it's not the only DMR who is good, SR-25 is also insane, but both of them need very high levels.. the levels problem is present on a lot of weapons, expecially on the Recon operator.. VSS, SG552 .. they all suck until you get LOTS of levels with them.
the sounds of the game stink too
they feel plasticy and the gunshot sounds are just bad no way to say otherwise
the limit of ars in classes is so dumb whats the point of limiting it even

One of the sound effects sounds like they stole it from the windows critical error/stop sound. I don't know how to write that sentence without saying sound too many times.

And I agree with the hitboxes. I have been killed and the silhouette of my killer is directly in front of me 100% behind cover. Obviously from their point of view they can see over that cover and hit me.

Well Snipers wouldnt be such a big issue if they wouldnt shoot out of their eyes / head because then they would be actually vulnerable. Right now you have to try and hit 2 pixels behind cover across the map.
Also... is there a way you can increase the size of the pointer while on the menu screen? There are amber flying around on the background of the menu screen and the micro pointer disappears from the background... Sound is horrible, and unbalanced. It is a free game I understand and the quality control is not there. But from what I have seen playing extraction game mode, it is pretty fun to play, can't say the same with Warfare.

I only play Operations and maybe some drunk Warfare.
1. Thats right.
2. This is 100% warfare problem, dont care.
3. I have cheap headphones and the sounds are as accurate as theyre supposed to be. People running above, below, far, close, bushes rattling etc. Nothing to complain.
4. TTK is good. If you dont think tactically, you end up dead.
5. Couldnt even read after "only useful class is sniper" Its pretty clear you havnt played Operations but ill continue anyway.
6. Coverd this in another thread but VSS is over tuned and devs even ruled it out from the quest because of it. YES MRs need balacing.
7. Blue slugs OHK purple helmets within 15m. So no, theyre not useless, they take skill. Buckshots etc. not worth it as of now.
8. They do what they do in video games. These things have been done so wrong in media for so long it doesnt even matter.
9. Stinger gets 1x3 nades for 45sec CD with stack of two. Thats hardly spam and easily avoided if youre not cornered. Of course if you run into a team with 3 stingers or Vayrons who time their nades perfectly. Doesnt really happen, if it does its one in a million really.
10. Theyre all useful and it takes time and care to balance your weapon for you playstyle. Nothing stings more than losing a 500-600k baby after a dozen succesful exfils because she was tuned just right. Even if you make another like it, it just dont feel the same.
11. Absolutely right.
12. Its a game made for eastern population in mind. They just love to click, browse and get toasts for every-friggin-thing no matter how small. I work with these people and for the love of god there is no medium with western and eastern amounts of clicks and toasts.
Smoke is really starting to kill the game. Badics putting smoke down everywhere, even to revive people in cover. Literally just Alt+F4 a game because I legit spend about 2-3 minutes with screen full of gray. I don't know if the badics were trolling but they were literally dropping smoke everywhere they ran. Was great farming with the shield but man was it boring.
And gears get lost if you run down the timer too

Every game has pros and cons, it is impossible in 2025 for everything in a game to be great. What is annoying to see is that everyone uses the same weapons, for example an assault vyron all with cl -19 or m4, the doctor with smg, sniper with sg 552 or newer aug. What is most disastrous for me is that I see that there is no balance in the teams we are 32 vs 32 but all the time in my team after 15 minutes of play there are 25 players there are 5 kills, after playing the statistics I see that they are lvl 2.3 and from the other team there are 20 with 200 hours of play, effectively I play alone against 30 who seem to be playing the delta force world championship. I don't know if it is skill base match making, but it is disastrous how unbalanced the teams are

What about the visibility in this game? Its awful, sometimes the soldier is totally black or white, no differentiation from enemy and ally.

I do agree that headglitch is annoying in this game, people just camp behind cover and they added more headglitches in season 2 since you can build stuff in map. Also lean contributes for infinite amount of headglitches, it should be removed from warfare.

Ttk I think its ok for mid and long range but close range is too high, some weapons does have 0,4ms close range ttk, avg 300 ms is too much in close combat since you have to deal with multiple campers in corners.

The sound is really bad, its bugged for sure, it renders sound randomly, sometimes you can hear sometimes you cant.

Smoke spam makes some infantry maps very annoying.

I greed with almost everything is this post.

I think this game should have bonus for killing inside objective since its way harder to get an objective where you can get shot from everywhere then camping arround killing people ( It gives you way more points if you just do that )
