No Crosshair while ADS

I have the issue that when I'm inside certain scopes (most of them) that there's no crosshair. I restarted the game multiple times, reset the graphic settings etc. but nothing helped. Someone help me please! :')

i mean... your in the scope right?

so... does the scope not have a cross made from the lines...?

when you say crosshair, im thinking you mean the white lines on left, right, top and bottom of the aiming area (usually used with off-hip)... do you mean you have no way to aim in a red dot, a scope, or any type of sight?

Exactly. There's just nothing which makes it impossible to aim

damn then that is an odd one....

could be something to do with your machine not rendering something on the game, such as sights... (but that aint the game, no offence, its not a common issue)

mmm, nothing in settings is helping? do you have external settings such as Nvidia control panel or something like that? (try putting to lowest via the external settings panel, then slowly raising them back up to find that sweet spot)

Definitely odd yes. I found nobody with the same problem on the internet. And even more odd is, that some sights work and some don't (well most of them don't work but yeah). I tried to change every setting. I will try some external settings like you said but my hopes are not that high haha.

yea i dont blame you, might aswell have said "have you tried turning it off and on again?"

but some do render...? ok, so then its able to render some stuff... its able to put some view through a sight...

sounds like a few files got corrupted then most likly, sucks to say but did you have a hiccup in your installing? if you think not, im'a say that steam does tend to have hiccups without it showing...

an re-install could help big time....

Well, it worked for the first few days but then it changed suddenly without me doing anything haha. But you're right maybe I had a hiccup somehow so I'm just going to re-install it now in the hopes it will work after that.

Are you using Tactical Stance? If you press N with a flashlight/laser equipped, your ADS button will no longer have a crosshair

Probably this, or check game files. If it worked and suddenly stopped, maybe a crash did this to you.. worth a try.

Also try settings for effects, textures, post processing on medium - high one by one.
Or run the game on high - ultra settings for once to see if the RETICLES work there.

Also have the same annoying issue. Most annoying is that it actually worked fine and then started. I re-installed the game to no help. I realized the only thing I changed was ADS to hold instead of toggle. I switched that back and also didn't help. Very frustrating as I can basically play iron sights only. For the record I don't have an optimal set-up and basically play on low settings, but then again it worked in the start so...
Please let me know if you could fix it somehow

I'm also re-installing it at the moment and then I will check if, what Isaxus wrote, caused the problem. I will tell you as soon as I know.

Did you try to verify game files? Maybe something is corrupt. It;s very strange indeed. Could also be a gpu driver issue but I doubt it.

Guys, it worked by just re-installing the game
