Cruise Missile Spam?

Genuine question - should it be possible for the opposing team to call down literally 8 cruise missiles within 5 minutes? Playing ascension and our whole team kept getting obliterated (even in cover) from repeated cruise missile strikes, all within a very short period of time.

That's why i like battlefield model - vehicles and attacks are provided evenly for teams. COD model (giving that ability by points) inevitably leads to all disbalance in teams multliply itself and make it worse. And playing in disbalance is no fun either winning nor loosing team,

if those 8 or more people have points above 20k(cmiiw?) it should be doable

You need 18,000 points for this. Normally you only get it towards the end of the match. But it's not just the opposing team that has so many points, but also the top people from their own team. OF COURSE if you spend it on other things you can't use them later. I always save for this rocket myself.

@Glory It would be a disaster here. First of all, everyone would fight to use these things. I'll do it myself if you can get a tank for free. It would probably be even worse with the rockets. It's okay to buy them as a reward for "killstreaks".

It does get annoying right when you are about to win and 5 missles drop from the sky and they take both of the points back.

Haha...I want to see your next comment if you have 18k point achieved in a round finally but you cannot launch the missle due to it is nerved or limited and the round end before you can launch it. :-D

sounds like you need to hit 20k points in a match to counter their cruise missiles.
That's the ONLY way you can. I pump out 1 cruise missile every match. to help with my teammates who have acquired 20k points themselves.
So you're telling me... I shouldn't be rewarded for my efforts on the battlefield? Sorry no. You need to get your points up. OR you shouldn't play so terrible to let them get multi missiles.
what rank are you? Low Tier? Wait til you get to General/Field Marshal rank. It's WORSE. LOL but managable.

I'm mashal myself and i deny it (mostly)... between high rank and low rank isn't a big difference. it still depends heavily on the map itself. This is the case with 3 maps that I cant name directly because I only know the German names. But try it anyway: ditch lines, ascent and train wreck. With them it's too easy to get the 22k/18k because of the size of the map and vehicles that you get for free. The other cards are perfectly fine.

There's no big argument there, Dragnoros. I'm struggling to get to Field Marshal. You guys are top shelf for sure. General 2 star here and stuck there lol
ANYWAY.. i have seen a slight difference on the spam of missiles at these levels/rank.
3-4 weeks ago, when i was lower rank, I never saw THAT many Missiles lol
it wasn't until this past week that i started seeing 8-9 missiles at the end of a match. For the first time witnessing it, my reaction was kinda on match with the OP. I was furious. "HOW DO WE BEAT THAT!?" at first i felt hopeless, but i adapted and started earning my points for TacMissile. Players are smarter to save their points compared to the lower rank players who use their points for Artillery and Vehicles. THIS is why there are so many at the end of the final phase of a match. Those points are valuable if well spent. I play about 6 hours every day now. Every match has the missile spam lol I love it. I have no complaints over it.

yeah, that still only happens with these maps. You can't tell me that it happens often in "Insinuated"(city map) or "Ragged"(desert map). This only happens when every phase is played until extra time, which rarely happens.

But it may be because I have experience from the beginning of Season 2 that something like this happens often even in the lower ranks.

Tip about the rank:

S-Wolf and Vyron have serious problems scoring points consistently. (unless you have divine aim) It would be easiest with Luna... but Medic and hackclaw also work with their support. I was having a hard time trying to score 750 points/min on the small maps. Except when I had free vehicles xD.

And play with friends together. you need a hackclaw/Luna for the respawn. The timewaste is way to big if you can't spawn near the fight and have to walk 10-20seconds every time.
