Weapon customization during matches

Is there any particular reason why we cannot modify weapons during matches? I'd like to add attachments to my guns as I unlock them during matches.

I would like that as well. Forgot that was not a thing last night and kept trying to customize while in match, a little slow for me last night

Its been mentioned a lot, thing to do is create 6 diff builds for the gun of choice before the match then you can choose in game, simples
