how to change server location/region??

I call BS, there is a server right in the city I live in yet it always connects to EU. And no it doesn't even wait til it expands its search, it connects immediately, with a ping of 80ms+

If i connect locally to the server literally next door I wouldn't be getting anything close to 80ms. I should be getting 10-20ms

Per usual, when the game searches for servers to find they usually pick the best one, which is usually the nearest.

However, and I should have been clearer here, is that when I matchmake, it only takes me a few seconds, maybe 20 tops at most to connect, and yet I get European servers.

I also wait until it expands the matchmaking region, and still connect to European servers. Its always at 80-90 ping which is the typical ping range for me on any game when I connect to European servers.

if the game does indeed pick regions for me, then why when I get the "expanding matchmaking region" message, still get the usual ping range as if on EU? You would think I would connect to regions a bit farther like the US in example (which I average around 120-130ms), but nope. Its as if I'm locked in EU region, no more no less.

This could mean three things:
1. My account is locked to EU
2. The ping in-game is inaccurate
3. They lied about having a server in Saudi (but this doesn't explain why I don't get worse ping when waiting for too long/don't connect to other servers).

Peak time or not it's still the same issue. I really really doubt this game is dead in my region. This has been the case for me for months.

Or there is just not enough players in your region. The game see it and immediately connects you to EU.

I'm still right in what I'm saying though about the game chooses the region for you. If I wasn't right they'd be a option for you to select what region YOU want to connect to (which their isn't).

March 2025 and still got the same issue, it doesn't even connect me to eu, i get 120ping in eu usually and they connect me to a server with 180-200ping

120 ms ping in EU from EU ?

I had that ping in 2008 when i was connecting from EU to US servers.

Upgrade ur ISP.

Also u might try an application , can't remember the name .... it is partenered with Delta Force so it works with the game will.

It also alowes you to change server locations .

120 ping is from Middle east, not from EU. There is a reason i wrote about Saudi Servers.
