Banned for nothing

Yesterday I got banned for literally nothing. I didn't play Operations mode for 2-3 days, I just sat in the menu and crafted items. Support does not want to give the reason or check the issue, but only receives copy-and-paste answers. I don't have any macros or software. I have been playing actively, day in and day out, on my main account for over a month now instead of creating a new account. It's completely nonsense that the system can ban you for nothing and the support doesn't care at all. I read that some programs such as vanguard, ghub, discord or overlays can cause "detection", but it's funny that support has no intention of checking what really happened and gets the answer that anticheat is not wrong

GHub is a legitimate software made by Logitech. It's a controller software for their mice and headsets. GTI knows it gets people banned and they know it's not a cheat program. And also it can compleatly remove the recoil of some guns , making you win ez in PvP

It's not that they don't think ACE makes mistakes. It's that they KNOW it makes mistakes but don't care to do anything about it.

They full on admit that things like GHub can get you banned despite being absolutely legitimate software to have running and they make the process to appeal a ban deliberately long and nearly impossible to overturn a ban. All in the mindset of 'it catches enough cheaters that the false bans are an acceptable outcome'. If they cared about the issue it wouldn't be happening months after launch and they would have a better appeal system than a Google Form that has no link to your account in any capacity.

They don't even care about legitimate issues like the Chat Spammers whom they will only issue a 24 hour ban to instead of updating their chat moderation tools to make the Advertising Spam impossible to do. GTI Security is good at making the anti-cheat detect HID cheating and they take cheating seriously, but they ignore too many other problems in the game and don't care about any issues with their system.

They just don't care about false bans. Simple as.

Sad but true. The funniest thing is that I don't even like shooter games, but I really liked this game and had fun playing it, and now I can't play it in any way or talk to the right person who will really look into this matter. I don't even care about getting an unban, I just want it to be shortened, even though I didn't do anything wrong.

True, but recoil in this game is so pleasant and easy to control that even for me it wasn't difficult, although I have no experience with such games. Even if I had some macro, they have no right to ban me for it because I didn't use it in the game and they know very well that all the matches I played were clean

You're not the brightest crayon in the knife box bud. GHub cannot do ANY of the things you just said. Again, GTI and community team members EXPLICITLY say all the time they KNOW that GHub is legitimate and is not capable of being used for cheating and they STILL have not fixed that it can get you banned. YOU CAN GET BANNED LIKE I DID FOR USING BUILT IN FUNCTIONS OF STEAM LIKE THE SCREENSHOT AND RECORD MACRO. You do not know what you are talking about and you've proven you are only going to comment in bad faith. Disgraceful.

Programs like that are mentioned in the "dont cheat" -sheet you agree on to create an account. YOU KNOW what youre doing and you still do it. Hence you cheat, you get banned. Its hardly a surprise.

I don't use GHub because it breaks audio drivers. People are getting banned for HAVING GHub. Not for using macros explicitly if you pay attention to what I've been saying. Additionally, macros are not against the TOS. Read it for yourself. Even if you want to call what SOME people use it for, it isn't autoaim and it isn't autofire. You're still MANUALLY hitting the button to activate the macro. That's how that works. Auto anything is cheating. Manually doing something to input faster isn't. That's how that works. The anti-cheat hitting GHub and STEAM for just hitting a specific button that does a specific action isn't a fair ban. As I said, mine was for using the screen shot and record function BUILT INTO STEAM. People have been banned just for HAVING GHub. That is like getting your dog shot by the ATF just for owning a gun having never used it for a crime. Auto aim and auto fire are NOT possible with GHub. My statement stands.

I agree that you can use scripts on ghub that give you an advantage over others, but in my case I haven't played a single game using scripts on recoil or autos. That's why I still think that GTI and their actions are immeasurable and they don't care about the situation that someone could actually be punished unfairly. Additionally, when GTI itself advises me to uninstall or update ghub, they admit that I didn't do anything and simply ACE gave a false positive result, but they still can't unban me or shorten the punishment

Had swapped the motherboard and CPU, so it was a brand-new Windows 11 installation with the following tools: SignalRGB (for controlling lighting), Nvidia drivers, Discord, Steam, and ChatGPT. Punishment: 10 years. Invested money (for Battle Pass, etc.) is gone, and support can’t help. I can only warn everyone against spending money on this game because it can happen to anyone.

Posting something here in the forum doesn’t help either, except for the usual comments telling you not to cheat or not to use forbidden apps.

Yes. And if you get unbanned after weeks, it seems like they don't tell you which tool triggered the false positive. So it could basically happen again at any time...

It's sad that ordinary players suffer because of cheaters. I also bought a battle pass for 2 seasons and now all my progress and battle pass are gone. Maybe one day something will change and people will stop getting banned for using allowed programs, but I doubt they will ever unban anyone because of this

hi, i dont know how to resolve this problem. i followed many guides, done everything i could but the game keeps banning me for no reason, also in lobby, for 1 minute. i do not use cheats, never done it. i repeat I DONT use cheats. Some guys said that i need to close the startup apps. i ve done it. keeps banning me. the only thing i can think of is that i have an italian account but im currently in romania since i study here. maybe the game bans me because i started playing in italy and now im in another region? help me because i dont know what to do. that happened yesterday after the latest nvidia update and ive already reinstalled the drivers. keeps doing it and ive lost count of how many bans ive got till now.

it does not matter if you use GHub for what ever, the anti cheat detects it as a source of cheating, there for it warns you or bans you..... simple as that

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Sometimes that will do it.
